clean facilities, convenient freeway access, decent pool
Room sizes are shockingly cramped!!! The bathroom design is absurdly inefficient with a sliding door that offers no privacy!!! Make sure to check the noise levels from the halls-thin walls make for a sleepless night!!!

Cheap hotel in a pretty nice area not far from a restaurant. Pleasant staffs, gave a few recommendations. Nice building and rooms with the window facing cleveland. Central location, within walking distance of an indoor ice rink.

Comfortable Stay with Room for Improvement
The staff here were friendly and accommodating. I enjoyed the clean pool area. The noise from the highway was disruptive at night, so requesting a room at the front might help. A decent stay, but could benefit from some soundproofing improvements.

I must comment on its central location - it was amazing.
The room is too small.

It was easy access to and from I-101. The restaurant (Sam's) in front of the Vagabond was excellent and affordable. The room was not fancy, but comfortable.
The carpets need to be replaced and / or cleaned (hallways and in room).

The price was right, but there is a reason for that.....
Have stayed w/ the vagabond inns up and down california and, regrettably, I have to say that this was the worst. Our room smelled strongly of smoke and stale, dead air. My wife and our two babies could not get any sleep.

Great location, nicely landscaped.
Very disappointing, even for an economy room. Hallway carpets and walls were dirty, numerous stains in hallway carpets some very large. Mold on wall in our bathroom. Several stains on walls in room. The carpet in our room was really stained, one stain looked like a bloody footprint coming out of the bathroom. Several hairs in our bed, my husband refused to sleep under the covers. Pillows were only 1/2 the size of a normal bed pillow, if you put both pillows together it would make the equivalent of one pillow. No cups or sugar/creamer provided for in-room coffee. TV had lines running thru the picture.

Cleanliness stood out , and the breakfast options were plentiful, with eggs, pancakes, and bacon. The location was convenient, near attractions, but the noise from the nearby highway was quite disruptive at night. The beds lacked comfort, leading to restless sleep. Unfortunately, a fire alarm interrupted the morning, disappointing.

would stay here again and again
The place is newly renovated and super clean. Staff were friendly and always helpful. Breakfast was a solid spread with hot and cold options. Loved the private bathroom amenities like shampoo, body soap, and extra towels. The pool was a bit cold but nice for a dip. Plus, the fitness center was a bonus!

I stayed here with friends for a fun weekend. We explored the fine hiking trails and did some mountain biking nearby. The breakfast was a hit. Just a heads up-the freeway noise can be pretty loud, especially in certain rooms.
We had some trouble with the cleanliness of one of our rooms upon arrival. The carpet was stained, a bit disappointing.
